WPB Executive Committee

The WPB Executive Committee serves as the organization’s advocacy leaders and are invited to participate by the Dean of the College of Human Sciences. The WPB Executive Committee will be led by a president and two vice presidents plus 12 to 15 at-large member representatives. All WPB membership and partnership levels are eligible to serve in the at-large positions, with at least one position reserved for a Phil or Phil Jr. member. The WPB Executive Committee is responsible for advocating for the organization within their circles of influence, suggesting educational programming topics and helping to secure speakers, participating with mentoring initiatives, and identifying potential new members and partners.

Six roles of WPB Executive Committee Members

Patron - Regularly purchases tickets or table sponsorships at WPB Premier Educational Programs.
Participant - Participates in one or more WPB Pocket or Hybrid Educational Programs each year.
Host - Serves as a host at one or more WPB programs during term on Exec Com.
Recruiter - Assists in the identification of potential WPB members and partners.
Link - Provides a direct connection to a potential speaker for WPB Educational Programs.
Advocate - Shares information about WPB within their circles of influence.
